    ADMISSION GUIDELINES & PROCEDURE

    A smooth and transparent admission process designed for every learner’s journey. Patel Public School welcomes students into a supportive environment where learning starts with curiosity and grows with purpose. Admissions are open for Pre-Primary to Grade X based on seat availability and eligibility. The process is transparent, merit-based, and child-centered.

    ADMISSION OVERVIEW

    Admissions run from December to April each academic year. Early application is recommended as seats are limited.

    Academic Year: June to March
    Medium of Instruction: English
    Affiliation: Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (ICSE)

    AGE CRITERIA (As per NEP 2020 Guidelines)

    Nursery – 3 years
    LKG – 4 years
    UKG – 5 years
    Grade 1 – 6 years
    Grade 2 onwards – Based on previous school records
    Birth certificate verification is mandatory.

    ADMISSION PROCEDURE

    STEP 1: ENQUIRY & SCHOOL VISIT

    Parents can visit the school office between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. from Monday to Saturday to collect admission details. A brief orientation on the school’s curriculum, facilities, and policies will be given. Parents may also submit an Online Enquiry Form available on the school website.

    STEP 2: REGISTRATION

    The Admission Registration Form can be collected from the office or downloaded online. Submit the form with the required documents:
    • Birth Certificate copy
    • Two passport-size photos of the student
    • Photos of both parents/guardians
    • Address proof
    • Previous year’s report card (for Grade 2 and above)
    • Transfer Certificate, if applicable
    A non-refundable registration fee is required at submission.

    STEP 3: INTERACTION / ASSESSMENT

    Pre-Primary and Grade 1 will have an informal interaction. Grades 2 to 9 will have a written assessment in English, Mathematics, and Science. The Principal or Academic Coordinator will meet parents to discuss the child’s readiness.

    STEP 4: CONFIRMATION OF ADMISSION

    Selected candidates will receive a confirmation via email or phone. Parents must submit the required documents within the timeline:
    • Original Transfer Certificate
    • Health Record / Medical Fitness Certificate
    • Immunization Record
    • Undertaking Form
    Admission is confirmed only after fee payment and document submission.

    STEP 5: ORIENTATION & COMMENCEMENT

    A Parent Orientation Program will be held before classes begin. Classes start in June.

    FEE STRUCTURE
    Fee details are available at the school office.
    Fees can be paid term-wise or annually.
    Payment options include online transfer, cheque, or demand draft.
    Late payments attract a nominal fine.

    WITHDRAWAL POLICY
    One term’s written notice is required for withdrawal.
    Transfer Certificate will be issued only after clearing all dues.
    Term fees are non-refundable in case of mid-term withdrawal.

    SPECIAL NOTE (NEP 2020 ALIGNED)
    Admissions are inclusive and open to all students.
    No child is denied admission based on gender or socio-economic background.
    Learning support is provided for students needing additional help.
    No interviews are conducted for Pre-Primary admissions.
